The Artosphere Chamber Music Series is a unique series of concerts throughout Northwest Arkansas showcasing extraordinary musicians in intimate and awe inspiring settings. Each concert is designed to provide a combination of music and scenery that blend art and nature. Concert sites will include Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, AR; Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, AR; St. Catherine's at Bell Gable in Fayetteville, AR; Stone Chapel at Matt Lane Farm in Goshen, AR; and the First Presbyterian Church in Eureka Springs, AR.
About the Artists
The 2010 Inaugural Artosphere Chamber Music Series will be under the direction of America’s pre-eminent guitar virtuoso, Christopher Parkening, and will feature musicians who will play repertory reflecting a musical journey through the natural environment.

Virginia Luque - Guitar
Virginia Luque is a guitar virtuoso specializing in “classical and flamenco music in a Spanish romantic style.” Born in Cadiz, Spain, she began playing at the age of four and has toured internationally and played in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and The Metropolitan Opera House.
Lauren Ausubel – Flute accompanist for Virginia Luque
Lauren Ausubel is a coveted New York chamber musician. She has performed with numerous ensembles including the Ridotto Chamber Players, Ensemble Alma, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the Manhattan Sinfonia, and the Stony Brook Contemporary Chamber Players. She is a founding member of the Femmes Four flute quartet and also was a finalist in the Myrna Brown Flute competition held in Dallas, TX.

Pablo Sáinz Villegas - Guitar
Pablo Sáinz Villegas is one of the world’s leading classical guitarists and established the fact by winning the 2006 Christopher Parkening International Guitar Competition. Villegas has performed on stages such as Carnegie Hall and Tchaikovsky Theater, and he has been featured as a soloist with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, New York Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, and the Canberra Symphony Orchestra.

Tim Callobre – Guitar
Tim Callobre is an up and coming classical guitarist with accomplishments such as winning the 2009 Christopher Parkening Young Guitarist and the 2007 National American String Teachers Association competitions. Having already performed at Carnegie Hall for the PBS program “From the Top – Live at Carnegie Hall,” Callobre is already an accomplished, youthful musician with a promising future.
